just cause 3 is a open area map that is split up into territories. You as the leader of the rebellion (Rico) are fighting against the corrupt general  (sebastiano Di Ravello) by taking over city’s thru unique challenges  and destroying base’s. You have a giant armory that includes grapple gun,parachute,guns and more. You get thes weapons from dead body’s,rebel drop or a gun shack. You get the upgraded parachute and grappler from dimah. You don’t have to beat the base’s to explore the island Medici but if you go into a base it instantly becomes a “combat zone” and get 1 star when you try to escape . But you don’t have to play the story line to have fun, you can do what ever you can do and want to do with a tether that allows you to connect object and make them go flying, while you drive cargo planes,tank and helicopters you can get these by unlocking them or stealing them and then calling them thru containers dropped thru a helicopter(I don’t know how a cargo plane fits in a small container,you can even turn humans into cow this includes Rico in this neat easter egg )
